Spray and Pray Hill Development for Deer
The decision was made to trial a "spray and pray" pasture renewal operation on a 12 Ha steep north facing paddock.
The Outcome
Subsequent AP meeting updates
-4 Feb 16 Paddock performing well. Ridges and high areas well grazed by Deer but gullies and lower areas are harder to control.
-24 Mar 16 This paddock has rebounded well after some rain and yearling Deer have done well on it.
-5 May 16 This paddock is still the best on the farm.
